October: Why it’s Perfect Now!
Donkey: Are those Bees?
Yoti: Definitely not bees.
Donkey: Hornets?
Yoti: Not a flying insect.
Donkey: Every October we hear the same thing for a few days, and I think it’s bees.
Yoti: Are you talking about Formula 1 cars?
Donkey: What are those?
Yoti: How do you live this close and not know about Formula 1 cars?
Donkey: I’m a donkey. How should I know about human technology?
Yoti: Ok, so Formula 1 cars are super fast and super loud.
Donkey: Why do they want to be those?
Yoti: It’s a competition.
Donkey: To be super fast and loud?
Yoti: Kind of. Hundreds and thousands of humans gather to see which one of them can drive the fastest around and around in a circle.
Donkey: I wish that many humans would come watch us like that at Green Acres.
Yoti: I think they win a pretty big prize for winning.
Donkey: We could give out a prize.
Yoti: We don’t have money.
Donkey: We have the experience of being at the most beautiful glamping spot at the planet…
Yoti: You’ll have to do better…
Donkey: …and relaxation…
Yoti: Still not enough
Donkey: …and petting us. They could watch us go around in a circle, and whoever wins gets petted the most.
Yoti: You were doing better when you mentioned the relaxation of glamping in pristine nature.
Donkey: We are very soft, though.
Yoti: That we are, Yoti. I’m just happy it’s back to perfect glamping weather again.
Donkey: So nice not being hot at night.
Yoti: And all the people that glamp at Green Acres…
Donkey: Means more food for us.
Yoti: Can you say baby carrots?
Donkey: Baby carrots and apple slices!
Yoti: Yeah, baby. I can hardly wait.
Donkey: Please bring some for us.
Yoti: And remember, no lettuce.
Donkey: NO LETTUCE… heee awwww hee!!!
Yoti: I think you made your point.
Donkey: Baby carrots and apple slices, people.
Yoti: They got it.
Donkey: Hey, humans gather at that racetrack to hear loud machines go fast in a circle, I think I need to be super clear.
Yoti: Ok, ok. Let’s say goodbye.
Donkey: Goodbye.
Yoti: We’ll see you when you get to Green Acres.
Donkey: (super quietly) baby carrots and lettuce.
Yoti: Definitely not bees.
