November: It’s Easy to be Thankful Here

Donkey:  Ahhh, Thanksgiving
Yoti:  Beautiful time of year.
Donkey:  When all the people at Green Acres start being thankful
Yoti:  I’m pretty sure some of ‘em are thankful more often than November
Donkey:  I’ll give you that.  Some of ‘em are really nice.
Yoti:  Like Maria and Ramiro
Donkey:  Oh yeah, they take such good care of us.
Yoti:  They’re also excellent hosts for everyone who stays here, too.
Donkey:  Oh yeah.  Know what I’m thankful for?
Yoti:  Apples.  
Donkey:  Way to steal my thunder.  What are you thankful for?  Baby Ca…?
Yoti:  All these people staying at Green Acres.
Donkey:  Wait, people?  Really?
Yoti:  Yep.
Donkey:  I thought for sure you’d say baby carrots.
Yoti:  Nope.
Donkey:  C’mon, I know how much you love baby carrots.
Yoti:  Sure do.
Donkey:  Well…. why…?  Do you love our feed better?
Yoti:  Nope.
Donkey:  Energy bars?  
Yoti:  Nope.
Donkey:  You trying to get people to give you the junk food they’re not supposed to?
Yoti:  Nope.
Donkey:  Then why don’t you say baby carrots is what you’re thankful for?
Yoti:  ‘Cause the more people that stay at Green Acres, 
Donkey:  Yeah?
Yoti:  The more baby carrots AND apples AND scratches on the head…
Donkey:  …AND rubs on the back…
Yoti:  Now you’re getting it
Donkey:  No, we’re getting it.
Yoti:  Sure are.  I’m so thankful that people love being at Green Acres for Thanksgiving.
Donkey:  Have your Thanksgiving at Green Acres!
Yoti:  Spend your whole month at Green Acres!
Donkey:  I’ve heard there are still a few spots available.
Yoti:  And everyone you bring will be SOOOOO thankful you did.
Donkey:  It’s so peaceful here.
Yoti:  With the best, smartest donkeys in the world to keep you company.
Donkey: We really are.
Yoti:  You’ll impress your in-laws
Donkey:  Or just your wife…
Yoti:  …and kids.
Donkey:  Yeah, your kids are gonna love us.
Yoti:  Tell ‘em, Donkey.
Donkey:  We’re real gentle with little kids.  
Yoti:  We’ll eat out of your open hand… 
Donkey:  …without nibbling your little fingers.  
Yoti:  We don’t poop around ‘em,…
Donkey:  Maybe true, but that’s not polite talk, Yoti.  Let’s focus on the scenery…
Yoti:  Gorgeous rolling hills,
Donkey:  Tiny, yellow Fall leaves,
Yoti:  Gentle breezes,
Donkey:  Cool weather,
Yoti:  And if it does get warm, the AC in the yurts, trailers and lodge keeps you COM-FY.
Donkey:  Sure does.  Why camp when you can glamp?
Yoti:  Amen, brother.  Comfy beds!
Donkey:  Clean bathrooms!
Yoti;  We supply soft, clean towels
Donkey:  And soap!
